2. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent), lit. b (contract/contract initiation) and lit. f (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Visiting the website (server logs)

When you access our website, the following data is processed for technical reasons: IP address, date/time, time zone, page accessed, referrer URL, user agent (browser/OS), HTTP status, amount of data transferred. Purpose: delivery, stability, security (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Log data is automatically deleted once it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose.

4. Contact

When contacting us by email or via a contact form, we process the data provided in order to handle your request and, if necessary, for follow-up questions (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). We delete inquiries once the communication is completed and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

5. Booking & Payment (Stripe)

For contract fulfillment, we process identity, contact, and transaction data (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Payment service: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland (affiliated companies worldwide). Stripe processes, among other things, payment data, device/browser data, IP, and possibly risk assessment data. For more information, see the Stripe Privacy Policy. For international transfers, Stripe relies on appropriate safeguards (in particular EU Standard Contractual Clauses), Art. 46 GDPR.

We use MailerLite Limited, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, D02 P593, Ireland, for newsletters/automation. Data processed: email, name (if provided), timestamp, IP, interactions (opens/clicks) to optimize communication. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or legitimate interest in efficient communication (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, e.g., via the unsubscribe link. Information: MailerLite Privacy Policy. For third-country transfers, MailerLite uses appropriate safeguards (Art. 46 GDPR).

7. Multilingual website (Weglot)

We use Weglot SAS, 138 rue Pierre Joigneaux, 92270 Bois-Colombes, France, for translation. Weglot may process technical data (including IP, accessed URL, language settings) to deliver the correct language version. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a multilingual website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). More info: Weglot Privacy Policy. For any third-country transfers, Weglot uses appropriate safeguards (Art. 46 GDPR).

8. Cookies, local storage & consent

We use technically necessary cookies (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). For all non-essential cookies/tools, we obtain your consent via a consent banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can change your selection at any time via the “Cookie Settings” button linked in the footer. Alternatively, you can disable cookies in your browser; this may limit certain functions.

9. Storage period

Data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Statutory retention periods (e.g., commercial/tax law up to 10 years) remain unaffected.

10. Recipients & processors

We use service providers (in particular hosting, email, payment, translation) under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). Data is only disclosed to third parties on a legal basis (e.g., contract performance, consent, legitimate interest) or if required by law.

11. Data transfers to third countries

Where providers process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g., in the USA), this is based on adequacy decisions (Art. 45 GDPR) or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Copies of these safeguards are provided by the respective provider.
